A website that matches your expertise

There’s so much focus in the wellness and coaching industries on investing in mentorship, programs and trainings. And while these investments can be absolutely the best next step for the evolution of you and your business, it can leave a gap between your expertise and the look and functionality of your brand and website. When we go all in on education, some of the tangible systems and structures of our business can take a hit. A well balanced investment strategy is the best way to both maintain a level of excellence at your craft AND to have the online presence that reflects that.

Here are a few questions to ask yourself to see where you might have a gap:

  1. Are there areas that you’re still DIY’ing like graphics or branding that might not match the level of service you provide?

  2. Has your website been updated since you started your business or made changes to your services?

  3. Can clients book their services online with a seamless flow?

  4. Are you 100% solid on how your client moves through your entire service or offering?

  5. Has your online presence evolved as your clientele as evolved?

It may seem a bit superficial to think that something like your branding or website holds much weight when you’re a master of your craft. People don’t question your authority who are coming into your studio, taking your courses, or doing sessions with you. But what about the people who haven’t found you yet? Unless they are a word of mouth referral (which we LOVE), it might be hard to sell someone on your training program, or certification, or even a session, if your online presence does not radiate professionalism and expertise.

The reality is, having an online business, or even just some of your offerings online, requires you to invest in the look and functionality of your business, in the same way that you would invest in yourself.

Your website should always align with your expertise.

👉 Is it time for new branding photos?

👉 Updated content?

👉 A new user experience?

👉 More or less automation depending on what your clientele really wants?

These are the questions you need to be asking yourself so that you are not stuck in a trap of continual self development but leaving your online presence lagging behind.

We are always evolving.

Your website and brand are as well.
